Are people loosing their human properties?

Most people became like little twatty robots. Remote controlled - and with limited functionality and intelligence. I don't know if this is the effect technology has on them or if it's just a trend to "follow the crowd" or if it's just the do-as-you-are-told-and-don't-think - syndrome. What has become of "trust your gut" and your sixth sense and your intuition and all that? Is it gone? Have most became society slaves? Slaves to governments, banks, employers, slaves to self-perseverance? Are there only a hand full of critical thinkers left? Are there only a few that are willing to go against the crowd? Pity.
