What do you do on your days off?

On my days off I’ve been thinking about volunteering but I don’t know if I want to do it as a distraction from my mental health. should i volunteer on my day off or take the day to relax?

I'm really lucky. I do a four hour stint on the till at an Oxfam Book and Music Shop. For me this combines work and relaxation. I can listen to my own music, read my kindle and serve the occasional customer! I have mental health issues, nothing very serious, but the problem is there. But the four hours at Oxfam helps. The chats with those customers are often very good.

I'd advise volunteering, but I suppose that you need to strike lucky like me.
