I might not be as successful as my parents but I'm glad to be kind of positive I won't be turning out the way they did

"Success" to me is relative.

My dad was a teacher. An entire town of people knew him and loved him. I always thought that was success until people told me I had to drive nice cars to be successful.

then you are more succesful. if you are emotionally better and don't make their mistakes you did what you must!
