Am I the only one who couldn't understand the English accept by Japanese people?

Few weeks ago, in the institute where I go for preparation of exams to get into an MBA B School, some Japanese men came to address us students about Japan and many more. They came to our city Bangalore in India. But i have noticed that I couldn't understand their English accent. Most of the words i couldnt understand as an Indian. Yeah i am saying this because today 2 men from France too came to our institute and i could still understand their English. The 2 French men lived in Bangalore for 2-3 years. Sadly i couldnt understand the English said by the Japanese. Am i the only one?
