Interesting Night - Slightly Risky

I saw that the sky was going to be clear tonight and I read that Leonid Meteor shower was going to be visible so I headed to the Roane State observatory. Their website stated that they stargazed on every 3rd Saturday. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone to confirm so I headed out anyways. As I get to the road it’s on it quickly gets smaller and sketchier and there are deer everywhere. I’m not feeling super confident as I continue and eventually get to a gate, with nowhere else to go and seeing no one I turn around, bottoming my car out on the road as I pull off into the gravel to turn around, thankfully I get back on the road and book it out if there. That sucked, it was a perfect spot to watch the stars but I wouldn’t feel comfortable there alone. So I went home and stared up at the sky on the porch. I need to find good places to star gaze
