One of the hardest things I’ve ever done… though it means that every relationship thereafter I haven’t quite given absolutely everything… there’s a tiny piece of my heart I keep to myself to avoid the excruciating pain of ultimate heartbreak…
@InquisitiveMind

Very wise …
InquisitiveMind · 46-50, M
@Soossie the wisest knowledge is often borne out of the hardest experiences…
@InquisitiveMind

Very true …

@Soossie I think it's a great metaphor for how one can mend a broken heart ...and how much more valuable the heart will be, once mended. ❤️
@PhoenixPhail

We get wiser, stronger, and more understanding every time when our heart breaks and get mended …
@Soossie Well, that's the idea, anyway... 😊 🫂
SW-User
You can never mend a heart perfectly, no matter how hard you try. Until someone else comes along with the right kind of way to piece it together again :)
@SW-User

I think it’s possible if one tries to understand their wrong doing and never repeat it again …
SW-User
Yes, bc he knew my toxic behaviour was a result of my past and this made me trust him enough to respond to his love
@SW-User

That’s great …. A man like him is worth a woman’s love …
SW-User
@Soossie he is my hero 🤩❤️
Bklynbadboy12 · 31-35, M
Yes i have but even though she forgave me i still haven't forgiven myself
@Bklynbadboy12

I can understand … I hope that you will be able to forgive yourself but never forget the experience so that you won’t do it to them again …
DrWatson · 70-79, M
No,but I have become very good friends with someone whose heart I broke when we were both young.

There was a fifty year gap!

And I can't really take credit for the mending.
@DrWatson

I guess you both realized that there were a wonderful friendship in all that which needed to continue …
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@Soossie Exactly. We have struck up an amazing friendship, and my wife is friends with her too.
@DrWatson

How wonderful … 🤗🤗
Pfuzylogic · M
I had an off and on relationship for 6 years while I was in the Navy. I adjusted my personal boundaries to match our interactions. In the end I felt I had a good control of my emotion.
@Pfuzylogic

Well done dear Pfuzy … Hope they felt the same too ..
Pfuzylogic · M
@Soossie They stayed consistent. I realized ii had to quit being so idealistic.
PoeticPlay · 56-60, M
The hardest part is healing of ones self first.

Then you will gain the knowledge and have the ability to use the wisdom in order to become beloved once more.

@PoeticPlay

Healing of heart is important … it won’t happen completely if only one heart heals but the other won’t …
PoeticPlay · 56-60, M
Yes. It wasn’t easy. We ended up splitting up for good eventually though. We were great together at times but at times we were toxic for each other.
@YourMomsSecretCrush

Like all relationships … sometimes managing a relationship doesn’t seem to be easy …. 🤗🤗
lonelyloner · 31-35, F
nope never really till date after almost 16 years but now am careful about emotion and careless about broken heart
@lonelyloner

Never too late to learn and become careful about hurting others .. We all do that ..
I don't know.

With that, one always lose a part, never to be retrieved. Those, who does, are the luckiest one.
@Reflection2

It takes time, lots of love, patience, and lots of understanding ….
Livingwell · 61-69, M
No. I have not been successful doing so for someone else. I have mended my heart and grew love again.
@Livingwell

I feel good for you and I hope that one day every broken heart gets mended … 🤗🤗
Nope. Mine was broke too. Tried like hell .. but it takes two willing to admit to their part in it and make changes.
@Stillwaiting

I agree …. It takes two to tango in every event and cases of relationships …
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
That's about as easy as picking up the Rock of Gibraltar and lobbing it all the way to Neptune.
@NankerPhelge

Lol… Almost impossible …. Almost 😂
SW-User
It's a cooperation that gets the work of healing done, between the two involved.
@SW-User

Exactly … very well said ….
Coldplay · 61-69, M
I don’t think you can do it quickly.
Coldplay · 61-69, M
@Soossie I think possible, but very difficult.
@Coldplay

Very true … But I doubt that you could ever break anyones heart …
Coldplay · 61-69, M
@Soossie I sure hope not. And I am likewise sure you couldn’t either.
antonioioio · 70-79, M
The only heart that was ever broken was my own and I learned to fix it 😊
@antonioioio

Aww!! Hugs 🤗🤗
antonioioio · 70-79, M
@Soossie hugs back 🤗🤗🤗
To a special lady 🌹
SW-User
Never broken a heart.

Got mine broken, I don't think I want to speak to that person ever again until the time everything feels worthless.
@SW-User

I’m so very sorry to hear … I hope that your heart will feel happy again …
pearllederman · 61-69, F
maybe but i cant remember exactly what happened
@pearllederman

Aww!!! That’s quite alright … 🤗🌹❤️🥰
PoorSissy · 46-50
It was mended but only time did that for her.
@PoorSissy

I can understand …
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
Yes. It took a fair amount of time.
@HowtoDestroyAngels

It usually does … but I’m glad that you made it up to them …
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Yes, it too a long long time.
@Starcrossed

It usually does … and I’m glad that you made it up to them …
It as my it just takes time
@NaughtyPickle

It takes time for every broken heart to mend …
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
I don't think you can mend broken hearts.
@BittersweetPotato

It is possible dear potato … one just need to trust again and the other needs to never betray that trust again … 🤗🤗🌹
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@Soossie I guess potato hearts may be less responsive then 🥔🥺
No but I am alive 🙂
@littlepuppywantanewlife

Good to hear ….
@Soossie Thank you ma'am.
turnedtostone · 56-60, F
Yes,but it was my own.
@turnedtostone

Glad to hear ….
@RuyLopez

No you didn’t succeed?? Or no, you didn’t want to mend their heart??
RuyLopez · 56-60, M
@Soossie No I didn't succeed. Generally, my experience has been that it is best to end things definitively and let the person move on.
@RuyLopez

Exactly … A clean cut is my way of leaving and moving on … 🤗
Not really, I tried but it became too annoying especially after realizing the person I was with deserved to get their heart broken and they technically broke my heart first on low
@GoToTheCompound

Sorry to hear …
@Soossie No worries. It’s all a lesson I needed to learn about not giving your love to somebody that doesn’t deserve it. It’s a lesson I’m still currently learning
OnePatheticClown · 51-55, M
🤔No. Think I actually made it worse...
@OnePatheticClown

Very sad …
Kelly Clarkson song: Stronger (What doesn't kill you makes you stronger)
@softspokenman

Good words …
I made an AI personality out of you
@OrionInTheNight

What is an AI personality??
SW-User
No, not sure it’s possible
