Being far from my home computer, I’m using voice to text. So they may sometimes be grammatical errors due to the ineffectiveness of said voice to text system.
Oddly, her transatlantic journeys happen on a sailboat. Details are easily available.on line
What is virtue signaling anyway? I think people of her age group have a real challenge ahead of him. The planet is irrevocably damaged, the forces that control our planet have no interest in making us have a less impact.
And you speculate about self harm? Just because you do not like someone, just because you do not like their message, there’s not signal there’s anything wrong with them. Your emotional stance clearly indicates your discomfort
Causing trouble? Anywhere near as much trouble as a British petroleum or Dutch Shell or Exxon mobile? The only people she’s causing trouble for for those continue to get rich while destroying the world. Then you probably think that’s all a hoax anyway

You don’t seem to be taking part in the conversation. Calling people names it’s not conversing. Either say something meaningful or just stop

@Baremine water management is hell
You got stock to water?

@SatyrService no. That is house. Hold use. When the kids and grandkids come over we use an extra tank. I'm sure I am losing some out of the well the same way it runs in when it rains.
It went dry last year on July but started working some in Oct. By Dec it was okay. I hadn't had to haul water for four years.
We built a large pond to kind of feed the well and it was doing a good job. Water filter through the ground tested good. But it has dried up.
Would like to get rural water but they want me to pay for 3/4 mile of pipe. Over a quarter mile of rock. It is only $25000. A 2k cistern would be around $5000.

@Baremine I have mounted 1000 gal tanks up hill, so the pump can run slowly and recover

@SatyrService how does that work in the winter? Most of the time the well works fine. I hated hauling in the winter. Frozen valves, snow and ice. At least now I can park inside.
TrashCat · M
@SatyrService Wait...what? Where did you get 1000 gallon tanks? Are they the big plastic holding tanks?
SatyrService · M
@TrashCat yes they are heavy black plastic, many sizes
Farm supply stores , rural plumping/ well tech outfits
I tend to site it, then build a shed around it , to protect it and the plumbing parts keeps the freezing.
If flat a raised platform can provide gravity flow
Those should be easier at 500 gallons
Weight ya know
Can I ask what region you are in?

@SatyrService yes. Believe it or not we got 6 inches of rain last week and my well is working again.
SatyrService · M
@Baremine excellent! That moment when the rain comes.. especially when you smell it on the wind
any idea how deep the well is? sounds like surface wat,r a deeper well, recharges more slowly
it costs,, but consider getting it drilled more and ye$ that costs

@SatyrService it's an old well. 20 ft to the pump. Mostly surface water. I have a drilled we 100 ft deep. Need to get it hooked up. Dad had it drilled then. His health went and he passed. 92. Now that I know am retired I probably should look into it.
