I finally pinched my crush Anshika's cheeks today. Was it bad or creepy of me in your opinion?

As you all know that I started going for some classes for preparation of exams to get into an MBA B School and there in my class I had been having crush on this girl Anshika for the past 2-3 months. We are both 22 year olds now. Usually she initiates conversations with me as I am really shy and almost 2 months ago I came to know she even finds me cute too. Today she again said me Hi and literally asked me how was she looking. I answered saying she is looking really cute and pinched her cheeks gently as she is really cute. After pinching her cheeks, I was like awww she has such cute soft cheeks. She was smiling and it didn't seem like she was angry. My friend said she was kinda blushing too. I even bragged to my other friends that I was confident enough to pinch her cheeks. But did I do it wrong? We generally don't speak too much in class as I am shy near girls in person and usually she initiates conversations with me and its usually just hi or hello. Was it really creepy of me to pinch her cheeks like that? Or am I just overthinking?
