I miss when my biggest problem would just be being unable to breathe so my parents would sit me down in front of the TV and put the nebulizer on me

I'll just sit there on the sofa and watch cartoons with swinging feet, breathing up my nebule until it's all used up. As if I wasn't wheezing and dying just 5 minutes ago. Good times
Good Lord I hope it’s better than that now!
And is it@wackidywack Or are things worse.?
wackidywack · 22-25
@SatyrService nahhh it wasn't all that bad, but it's similar
@wackidywack I have a nighttime sleeping device. It is blessedly quiet
No idea how you even heard the TV over the machine...

@HootyTheNightOwl the machine isn't so bad lmao just that the TV volume is barely audible at that point. I prefer it over inhalers
@wackidywack Maybe it's worse for me because I have an hearing impairment.

That had to have been terrifying. :/

@thepreposterouspanda honestly, in my head, I was just needing help and I thought this was very normal. My dad has asthma as well so I was used to the breathing stuff. it was pretty chill for me. I got more serious about asthma when I started to understand it like when I was older but those times when I was a kid, it was just chill lmao no thoughts just cartoons and nebule

@wackidywack That does sound chill actually. 🤔 I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 12 or 13 but I'm pretty convinced at this point that it was just sarcoidosis before I knew I had it. 🤔
