Would you be comfortable leaving your home for a month..

@SW-User Same, I sent the owner of my place a text back saying that and got no reply so far.

@SW-User When the condo management forced everyone to allow Fios installation in the master bedrooms even if you didn’t use that company(cable incase you’re not from here), I told them they’re not going in my bedroom and if you fine me, I’ll get a lawyer.

@MellyMel22 fair enough. They should install in empty condos, not occupied, unless you opt in.

@SW-User Well the bathroom has to be done before the floor collapses. The management had fake plumbers come and do over $10,000 worth of damage and that’s not counting the carpet that covers the entire place that was installed as one piece. But still, why can’t I be here? I told her I wouldn’t be anywhere in their way.

Yeah I don't see any reason you can't be there. You should be able to stand and watch if you want to. They're not fumigating.

@SW-User She just texted back that we can talk more about it when she comes. I’m sure she’ll say she personally knows them or she’ll be there. That doesn’t help.

@SW-User Its only my place. The condos are individually owned by different owners.

@SW-User Damn, I confused you 🤭 Sorry.. I meant that the cable thing was years ago and I refused them to install the cable battery box in my bedroom b/c I didn’t want them in there.

Right now it’s my bathroom and kitchen. We’re not sure if they’ll be done together though. My mom lives across the street, so I can use her bathroom during the day if necessary. I just don’t want anyone, even the landlord here without me.

@MellyMel22 well, maybe you can ask about the specifics of the job and how they can work and accommodate you being home. Like you said, you can use your mom's bathroom.

@SW-User I don’t need to stay here overnight, I just want to be here when people are in my home, it’s my personal space.
