Why are single older men who have never been in a relationship before more sad and bitter than single men who had relationships before but single now?

I just found another man on quora who is 55 year old and never been in a relationship before. In his answers he says how he has never been on a real date before, never even kissed a woman and has 0 relationship experiences and how that makes him feel miserable and bitter. He keeps saying how he feels like a loser and how everyone is better than him and how he will be alone forever. Similarly on reddit too I saw 2 men in their 40s who never had a girlfriend before and they too feel terrible and call themselves a loser. These answers scare me as I am 22 and in the same boat as them and never even been kissed. Btw why do these older men who never been in relationship or date feel more miserable, bitter and sad compared to the single men who had relationships before or were married but are single now due to divorce or breakup? I see the divorced men who are single now are not as sad as these men with 0 relationship experiences. Why is it that way?

Men or women who are in such a situation might be there because their standards are or were too high.

To make thing worse, our selection dwindles as we all age. We just are not as attractive and there are less people in the dating pool.

22 is a bit young to worry about being alone for life. On the other hand, if you want to make things happen then you have to get out there and make it happen.
