The world is full of factories that seem to produce only steam and sparks. These factories are always open to run into and hide if you are being chased by a bad guy.
There is always parking available exactly in front of the building the characters are going to.
If they go to a bar, the bar reflects the tone of the characters. If they are sad, the bar is empty and quiet. If they are excited, the bar is boisterous and loud. They always get there just as the live band is starting to play.
Cute, smart, desirable, quirky women are always available and free of any other boyfriends, guy friends, weird stalkers and hanger ons in their lives. They are open to jumping into a relationship with the main character, and have no hesitation or complicating factors in doing so.
Children are an accessory that complement the lives of the main characters, they aren't separate entities with their own wants and needs.
Nobody runs out of bullets.
Jumping a car over a bridge or ravine is a fast getaway instead of 4 flat tires and 2 broken axles.
