Some of these boomers get offended by everything someone says or does and project it to all generations after them

They don't just lack empathy and EQ, but also self awareness.

Wow. This post seems contradictory. Anyone else or is it just me?

Ripping on older generations for ripping on your generation? They are both full of smart people and stupid people. Older and younger.

I guess there is no context to go off of in this post

Most people dont know boomer is from baby boomer. Baby-boomer generation.

Most people use that word boomer to describe people who are not baby-boomers.

Its like the word karen. It is a buzzword. It really means nothing. like the word woke.

I don't know the age of the person/people your referring to. So I felt inclined to defend the cool baby-boomers I know personally. Many cool boomers out there.

Thats all I was saying.

@Lactophile4life I go further. I refuse to use or take seriously, these silly categories and their buzz-words. We are people, not goods in a supermarket, and anyone can be "cool".

I don't know when "cool" as a slang compliment arose, but it was current and apparently "cool" to use in the 1960s.

"Woke" did have a real meaning originally although it is slang, but has become corrupted ignorantly into a term of abuse by anyone against anyone, often merely to stifle free opinions and discussion - and by extension, people. Ironically its original meaning was a warning against that sort of behaviour.
