Been sick all week. Was finally getting better then my sense of smell and taste disappeared 😭 It’s so WEIRD getting the signals of sweet, savory, sour and textures, yet it doesn’t taste like anything. I have no idea how I’m going to cook...

I am so sorry. Are there a lot covid case around you? Do you live in Europe or US?

I got Covid last year. But I had fever for 3 days and joint pain. The fever couldn't dissappear. I had to ask antibiotic.

@Arrow17 The States. Yeah, I guess it’s all over this summer. Mine moved through like a nasty flu. Partner’s Covid is really bad though.

I hope you get well soon and get your sense of taste back. I always thought that was the strangest thing; that covid did that to people and that some never did get their tastes back even after getting better.

@Colonelmustardseed yeah 😞 When this whole thing started (2020) I got very sick for a month-ish. Took almost a year to get it back. This go around it wasn’t as bad, so hoping for better luck 😅

I didn't know some people actually lose ther sense of taste when they get sick, that's so weird to me.

I have Covid rn too, annoying itch in back of my throat and coughing

@Jorgillo it’s weird. You’re chewing away.. your brain keeps waiting for the textures to taste like something, but nothing happens lol The textures start to feel gross.

@WhateverWorks you don't need to say anything else. This totally sucks. I had that after a flu when I was like 5 but just for a day or two. Not completely tasteless. But it was so bad it felt like I was just bullying my mouth by chewing.
