I think this year we won't visit Siliguri and Falakata. What do you people feel about it?

Last year at August 20th, we went to our hometown Siliguri and then on 27th August to Falakata for vacations. It was pretty nice and exciting trip. But it looks like we won't go there this year. Thats because in August the weather was super hot in both Siliguri and Falakata so we decided that if we go there this year, we may go either in October or November. But it looks like in October, we might go this coastal town Gokarna which is several kilometers from our city Bangalore. Thats because my mom's friend and her family are planning to go Gokarna so me and my parents will join them too and go to Gokarna together and we may go to Goa too as its very near to Gokarna. In October, we have Durga Puja which is an important festival for us Bengali people so there will be too much rush in Siliguri and Falakata as they are both literally in West Bengal. So we might not go there this year. Is it a bad thing?
