Not really, but it's important to experience those emotions and sit with them sometimes.
They're part of life, and life is a great deal of suffering sometimes.
I find the more you obsess on what you lack, the more you lack. It becomes a vacuous exercise.
Thus, it's important to practice gratitude, esp. in the heart of sorrow.
It's important to go above and beyond, esp. in the face of crushing defeat.
Perseverance is an art.
