I lived in my car for a few months about 3 years ago. I still had a job, so I was okay. I had a gym membership, and would go late at night to take a shower and change.
Don’t park in the same places too often. Someone will notice.
There wasn’t much room, so I couldn’t stretch out my legs while I slept. It resulted in them swelling up.

@Colonelmustardseed I park in the same place and it's okay. I've been using one spot regularly since before the people in the houses moved in, but still, sometimes I get lucky that way.

@Roundandroundwego I’ve had cops warn me about it. Could depend on the city.

@Colonelmustardseed @Colonelmustardseed people tend to lie about things to frighten away the homeless, even cops.

@Roundandroundwego No, it’s not a lie. You can easily Google and see it’s a city ordinance. Our previous mayor even had people fined for giving food to homeless people. It’s actually happening.

@Colonelmustardseed that's too bad. We had such an ordinance proposed, and it didn't pass, but people told me there was a law when there wasn't. Security guards at Safeway, the janitor at Walmart, even cops. Certainly, it's best to go where you feel welcome.
