Have you ever had a friend that tries to be in charge and the centre of attention?

I’ve got to start straight off and say I’ve known this person for years and we’ve had great and memorable times. But when we go out now she has to be at the centre of things, deciding where we go and who we go with. And if I meet someone and have a laugh or a dance with them - just as friends - she gets grumpy and finds a reason to disappear.

She can’t seem to take any criticism when I tell her how things are. I’m worried that I could loose a friend I’ve known since day one, but she’s becoming a chore rather than someone that have fun with. 😔

Isn’t it what girls do to each other on daily basis!? There’s always one who can’t tolerate anything fun happening to someone else besides her.

@Ceinwyn Sorry that’s the reality in life.

@eMortal Not in my social circle. I am blu have one person who has only started behaving like this. If this is the norm for your friends you need to find better friends.
That’s a tough one. But if being around them is difficult; if you can’t sometimes share activities that you initiate, if you have to be careful what you say, how good a friend are they ? 🤔
