Being an adult is a PAIN

So I got this really heavy wooden base leather sofa two seater, but it's really heavy, I don't think me and a male friend will be able to cope, two guys yes, they'd have to be very strong, but me and a guy I don't think we have the man power😂
My council is saying I can pay £30 for removal, which is fair but it's cutting into my budget of decorating, which I didn't think I had to pay.
If he calls his friend, he wants payment too, which I argue with, goshhh I hate being an adult why do I have to dip into my funds to remove a sofa that wasn't even mine, was left by previous owner.
I hate being a single woman alone, life is much harder

Do u think I should cheap it and still try with my friend, though it could be dangerous, we have a lift luckily, but getting it there is still dangerous, I could lose a toe or a nail and I always got compliments on how pretty my feet are😊and we don't have steel toe boots?
Risk it or just pay the money? I'm so maddd😠

Look for other friends to help I guess

I've carried couches by myself and help just about anyone that asks, hope you find someone in the area like me

In the US, having not cleaned the apartment before renting it then charging would not go well for said landlord
