...2days thought...

“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”

― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

Guys... everyone has a right to their own opinions/views/thoughts... pls respect that.. remember Marcus also said this...

“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
― Marcus Aurelius , Meditations
I understand the meanings of the original quote. Yet, some don't have the ability to revoke their life circumstances from what they endure - even if I wanted to tell them, they have that power to revoke, it becomes insensitive of their plight. The second quote, when you truly reflect, is not all much different from the first, but this allows the idea Marcus Aurelius didn't always foresee how his words could be taken; especially in a modern world (no reflection upon his statements there)

@Indy74 People wanna play pyscholigists on the internet & I actually feel sorry for them, as something must be lacking in their own lives. People tend to project their own struggles onto others and perhaps this is what happened. Can't say, as I'm not licensed in that department.😉
Funny part is, she started following me after saying she liked the vibe of my posts.🤭

@MoonlightLullaby Yes, they do wanna play psychologists on the internet.....I feel sorry for them as well.....lacking in their own lives is the proper way to put it. Neither one of us is licensed in that department. Don't claim to be. 😉

Yes, I remember well how she started following you.....you actually taught her a few pointers on how to navigate the site when she first arrived. 🤭
@MoonlightLullaby I've shared my opinion with you of who gets to call someone a victim; themselves (in this context). I'm happy my words matched your thought, and more, don't let anyone call you a victim. Once, it is unjust and not true, and further, it's not for someone else to yield those words like a weapon. It reflects more upon their character than yours.

@MoonlightLullaby You can have a subconscious victim mindset while remaining positive on the surface. Fooling yourself in a simpler English.

If you don't like my opinions or perspectives you have a choice to disengage.

@MoonlightLullaby Claiming you want others to respect your opinions while calling others opinions drama proves my point. You're more fragile than you'd like to admit.

@Queendragonfly i don't even buy into the constant positivity game either. But yep, you have me figured out. I see you and your new friend as as bullies. Peace be with you both 🪻

It's very true. Our anticipations of something is often the problem not the problem itself.
