Does life become linear?

I remember being younger and feeling overwhelmed of the infinite possibilities ahead of me. And now I feel I have no choice over anything, and no one around me does. I don't care about being happy anymore, I just need to survive and try to suffer as least as possible.

At some point you pretty much done everything. The real drag though is that the older you get, the less energy you have to even do things that you would want to.

It's easy for people to give bull crap suggestions like take classes or volunteer at some homeless dump.

One thing that might help is if you look at it like this though. If you are bored, at least you're not burdened with excessive responsibilities.
