Probably some moment during adolescence where a boy fantasized about some female with hair as an outstanding feature. I think that's basically how fetishes start.
@cherokeepatti - agreed. I never thought I would become fetishistic about any female hair but to someone of my vintage shorn lady-gardens seem unnatural.
