The reasons why I felt Kodaikanal is the Falakata of South India. Whats your opinion about the reasons?

As you all know I went to this hill station Kodaikanal on 20th May which is a hill station in Southern India which is 460 km away from our city Bangalore. I feel the place was pretty similar to my hometown Falakata which is West Bengal which is in north-eastern part of India
1) Kodaikanal is a small town just like Falakata. The only difference is Kodaikanal is a hill station whereas Falakata isn't.
2) I am about 5'9(174-175 cm) and I was pretty much taller than everyone in Kodaikanal. Similarly I am literally taller than like everyone when I go to Falakata for vacations.
3) Just like how in Falakata, snakes are common, in Kodaikanal, Indian Gaur which are the largest bovines in the world is super common there.
4) Kodaikanal has no big restaurants so doesn't Falakata too.
5) It rains a lot in Kodaikanal just like it rains quite often in Falakata too.
6) Most shops in Kodaikanal are small just like the shops of Falakata.
