Got a text from an old school chum.
He was ordered to evacuate his home which is in the path of an out of control wild fire. He said his house had fire on three sides of it but he hoped the fire fighters could keep the house safe.

@Quimliqer yeah it is rough for so many people. I haven't heard any news about that fire this AM so I will have to turn on the radio..

@SatanBurger Yes he is too experienced and too smart to stay in his house in the face of a raging wildfire. I am sure he is concerned about his house and all his memories there but a house can be rebuilt.

@SatanBurger He is a very practical and gifted man. A pretty good singer and a millwright that has been asked to do work all over the world. The only continent he has not been to is Antarctica. He loves to send me pictures of the places he is working. The last set of pictures he sent was from South America
