Not much. They “rescue” animals (even from their own yards) just walk in and take them away without the owner knowing. These are healthy animals, but they kill all the animals they “rescue,” so I don’t hold them in high esteem. There was a big news report about them years ago. I think it was in VA.

The founder explained why in an interview, but it was so long ago that I can’t remember. Something about wanting to reduce the unwanted pet population. They thought it best to euthanize the pets rather than find a good home for them. They stole outdoor dogs, just took them and killed them. One guy only knew it was PETA because he had an outdoor security camera. He contacted them asking why they had taken his dog, and that he wanted his dog back. He was told he should not keep the dog in his yard, and the dog was happier dead than left alone. They killed it. It was on the news. Terrible organization. @perceptivei
