If you’ve ever been homeless I want to hear your story

I graduated high school homeless. Worked nights at a sawmill. Slept on a friends couch. The only reason I stuck with school is because I wanted to go into the service. I did. Graduated with a 3.08. Not great but not bad for being tired all the time. Finally got some sleep in boot camp

I had a similar experience. I was 18 going to night school (adult education) to get diploma. I was homeless as well, sleeping in my friend's sister's garage. Working in the day and going to night school until I got my diploma but didn't join the army until 4 years later
