I got to remind myself who I am…

I’ve been gone for a while but there’s a lot to catch up on…

A few months ago I met someone who I was interested in. However they wanted to stay just friends. Yet every time I was hanging out with them, I would get hurt cause I would watch them flirt with other people and get all on them. Why did it hurt? Cause it wasn’t just “let’s just be friends” it was “I’m not ready for a relationship” and then see them run around and do this stuff in front of me and tell me how much they “love” someone or whatever. So it just hurt. Considering everything I’ve ever done for them. So I still remain friends, but I keep my distance from them.
I also got back into attending church. Working on getting closer to God again. It’s been an interesting journey. So far I found a church I like, but I’m still searching for one to call home. Yet it feels good being back and worshiping God. Started also reading the Bible more. Not as often as I would like, but definitely more than I had before.
I have started working out more and eating healthier and drinking more water. I’ve already lost 12 pounds! So I just want to continue that and see where I get. Once summer comes around I’ll be hiking more to which I’m excited about!
Work has still been great. Got a raise and been getting more responsibilities which are stressful but I love having more “trust” with the company. I can’t believe how far I’ve come since I started almost two years ago. From not knowing much about cars or tires. To being able to throw around 35s like nothing.

I hope every one is doing well!

glad you got out of the toxic relationship. I’ve been in one and they are no fun. Glad to see you back home in the church. You have my prayers.!

Give yourself credit that you are working on yourself, your health. and making your life better. That’s the most important thing.

Do you still do the (if I remember right) the staff fighting routines?
