Do you ever want to be somewhere else?

If you could be anywhere, where would you be right now? Would you stay or just visit?

I have such a wanderlust in me. I also sometimes just want to escape, to have an adventure, to get out of the routine of my life.

Wanderlust took me all over the world, but it has its drawbacks, and no matter where I am, every once in a while, my mind wanders back to that one spot on the beach, off Hwy 1, where we used to start a beach fire, and cook freshly caught fish, and then it dawns on me: there's a Ritz Carlton on that spot now.

@Northwest I love Half Moon Bay, Laguna Niguel, and Santa Barbara! :)

@ChampagneOnIce Half Moon Bay was my extended "backyard". It used to be a small fishing/agricultural village. Now the Ritz sits where we used to hang out.

I've stayed a few times, for business and personal, at the Laguna Niguel Ritz, but not Santa Barbara and Half Moon Bay. Love Santa Barbara, but have not been in years.

My favorite hotel in Laguna Niguel, is the Surf and Sand.

@Northwest I love the Surf and Sand as well. I've stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay and Laguna Niguel, but I haven't been to Bacara yet. Such beautiful places and resorts!
