How long did it take you to pay off your student loans?

I'm calculating 7-10 years, but that's only because I won't need to pay for a car or care for any children so I should be able to afford larger payments.

i used plastic then transferred the rest to a bankruptcy claim.

i had to, time to utilize!

my doctorates was no joke, well, it is in a way, but priorities had to finally be considered. 11 yrs falling behind and paying above the required tab was not working.

interest rates became murder after 2001.

A bankruptcy claim? I was told nothing, not even bankruptcy could get rid of student loans.

Aw man. Yeah, I only have to pay for a Bachelor's. Are things working out now with your payments?

@CityHigh12: people got to actually talk with a bankruptcy lawyer to get things straightened out.

not just anyone. i put it off for too long because i listened to the wrong people.

like i said i converted to plastic... (the bank really loathed that) and went RIP on the debt.

6 years, but that was largely because I always had multiple roommates and didn't have a car so not much else to spend money on.

I'm still paying them off

How long ago did you start making payments?

I will be paying mine off for 10 years

Okay so why will you not have kids to pay for or car payments?
hiddenkitty · 26-30, F
I can't drive because of my muscle fatigue problem, and I do not have an interest nor the energy to have kids
updown2020 · 61-69, M
Oh okay.
