God please help me.

I spend my whole life just drinking my pain away. I don't keep up with basic chores. My home is a mess. I'm not taking essential medications. I don't keep up with work. I'm gaining weight. I just don't know how to be an adult and do basic stuff. I always thought I was gonna do great things like be a musician or a pilot or a body builder but I can't even just show up to work.

And now my family are leaving me. My grandpa died. My uncle died. My dad might have cancer now. My mom is next. I spent so many years demonizing them and pushing them away and I can't get those years back. And I feel like it's already too late. Things will never be the same again.

And my health is fading, too. I might have short term memory loss from so much drinking. My IBS and GERD are getting worse. I have sleep apnea and I can't wake up to see a doctor or therapist about any of this.

I'm just so childish and disorganized. I ruined my health and my relationship with my parents and my career life. I can't keep up with expectations.

It sounds like you could benefit from rehab, and take it one step at a time, first the drinking, then you go from there🥺
@SW-User Yeah I'll do that.
@SW-User My dad told me that sleep apnea is no reason to miss work and I'm throwing in the towel every time I miss work. Is that true?

@SinlessOnslaught It can affect your ability to work, due to the effects of it. But you need to get help for it, maybe you need a CPAP breathing machine. Kinda depends why you're missing work.. But I wouldn't listen to parents on that, they usually don't want to admit that something is wrong with their kid.
@SW-User Yeah I'm seeing a doctor but appointments are so far in between, they're in no hurry at all.

@SinlessOnslaught Try to see a dentist, they can also help you with sleep apnea, at least while you wait for the doctor..
@SW-User They can? How?
SW-User
@SinlessOnslaught Oh yes, they can find out if you any oral abnormalities, help you with treatment options, and recommend if you should wear any appliance. I think they can refer you to experts too, but I'm not sure. You should call your dentist and ask if you can come in for a check, mention about the sleep apnea.
@SW-User I am due for a cleaning. Thanks, Cassie.
@SW-User I made an update. Thanks again, Cassie.
