Nerves about second meeting, but I was all “thankfully I have that other meeting first to make sure I’m understanding what I’m aiming for in the second meeting!”

Had a dream last night that first meeting was canceled. …Granted it was with Jonathan Scott of the Property Brothers, so somewhat less relevant, but STILL freaked me out a bit. Reminded myself all morning to calm down. You’ll get that meeting. It’ll help.

Funnily enough because she has contractors at her house. 🤣

@JoyfulSilence Kinda fun usually! I used to have a daily meeting for a group, and we’d all get tickled when things would slow down enough to cancel, even though we liked getting together.

When we all worked in the office, staff meetings were rare, and all business.

When the pandemic hit, we all worked from home, so to keep us connected, we had weekly video meetings. Sometimes there was an agenda, but usually we just went around the group saying what we worked on. I found it stressful. We also socialized.

Then we scaled back to biweekly, and stopped having to discuss what we were working on.

After the pandemic, they allowed us to keep working from home. Most still do!

Lately, a lot of these meetings have been cancelled. So happy because I do not wish to socialize with my coworkers. And one boss goes on and on. He is about to retire and has lots of stories.

I dreamed about them once too.. they had a remote they could change the colors of the house with (in my dream) 😂
