Name and brand dropping, humble -bragging about materialism, using kids as an extension of their own accomplishments.. all that social status bs feels gross .
With SW I don’t care. The whole point of this space is to share whatever’s on your mind into the void. Most people choose anonymity, so they could announce they’re a millionaire or a model and there’s no RL gains about it unless they have an OnlyFans

The other day I had to get together with a few moms. It went OK.. it’s funny how they managed to complain and brag in the same breath, “Are you going on the school trip? It’s so expensive! We’re passing because our family is going on an even more extravagant trip to an even better place, so there’s no reason to do both”. FFS…
I’m just glad I didn’t have to listen to them babble about purses again.. God, that was a long hour.
