I still don't know what I want to do with my life 🙉

We have a decision to make what masters we want to choose for the final 2 years of our 5 year program, but I don't feel like any of the choices are right for me. There's two that are closer than others.

One of them is called computer systems and networks, but it's really dry and focuses mostly on security and digital communication. It doesn't get the fun things along with it such as application programming and design.

The other one is called Interaction design and technologies, but it seems unserious and focuses mostly on human interaction with computers and design. For example their workshop consists of a 3d printer, electronics station and laser cutter. Fun and all, but wtf does that have to do with programming? They said that people who want to program can choose to program.

Sigh

What should I do?

I would go with the second option as long as your programing skills are strong and you dont feel you need direction in learning more. it sounds as though it will aide in Hume to machine problem solving which is and will be an interesting challenge with lots of interesting problems to solve.

I guess weigh up the pros and cons of both and see which one comes out on top...
Id say interaction design and technologies sounds good...

@Isthisit That's obvious, but what's not so obvious is what the pros and cons are... For example is that the Interaction design and technologies seems unserious a large negative? Will it be fun but ultimately leave me unemployed? Will it turn the last 5 years of my studies into a joke?
