Should I take a sick day today?
The layoff at work was yesterday. I survived but
I'm not sleeping. At least not well. My mind Is a maelstrom of thoughts. Mostly in simple Spanish. I'm going through Stockholm syndrome as well as survivors guilt plus trying to figure out how to do something with nothing. They layed off everyone in purchasing so all of our orders in process are dead in the water. They layed off the guy who controlled the rapid prototyping equipment so i can't make test parts and i can't get access to the thing to do it myself. The company has no money to buy anything so nothing can be tested. We the unwilling, lead by the unqualified have been doing the impossible for so long with so little that we now are expected to do the impossible with nothing. I think that this is going to be a sick day while they figure stuff out and i meditate.
