Damage control went well

And the Emmy goes to! 🥁 lol…. 🤮 I successfully compartmentalized at the kids’ b-day party. I mingled. I cracked jokes. She fake-hugged me and I didn’t puke in her hair. We made plans for the kids. Mission accomplished.

I have to hang out with her later tonight, which I am not thrilled about, but the important thing is the kids will still be able to stay friends.

I’ll stay friendly, but I don’t forget. Life has taught me that when someone shows you who they are, believe them.
