A couple of weeks ago, I made myself vulnerable about the depth of my despair to a dear friend. Little by little, people offered to help. They believed in me. They saw something that was not evident to these veiled eyes. I finally learned to receive it after a few attempts. I did not know why those people were so kind, but my love for them is eternal.
Lesson? Ask for help when you need it. Being vulnerable does not equate to weakness.
