Living with two people at their 50s and their maid...

Made me give away my power again. It began as showing respect to them. And after ten days I am staying with them I am silently crossing the staircase so to avoid the typical hello.
It's always tricky the relationships and especially with older people.
I am terrible and I am such a slow learner.
