For anyone curious, 2 people with PTSD managing to have a unicorn-esque ‘healthy relationship’ at times is still hard 😅🤷🏻‍♀️😜

Last night was special. I cried. He cried. The evening brought us closer in a way I’ve been waiting for.

I had a bunch of sad feelz boil over yesterday afternoon. We’ve talked about those feelz before (he’s great about creating space to share), but I keep putting those needs back in a lil box 📦 out of compassion for his stuff I know he’s already working on. He’s a wonderful partner. I haven’t wanted to make him feel bad for not being further along in his healing process.
Last night I could feel his walls come down and there was this.. I don’t know, warmth, ease, happiness and playfulness I’ve been hoping to share.

Thank you. We do pretty well, but it still comes with its challenges for sure 🤗 @SW-User
