Damn this one be having me reflecting on life & shit
Like all the days/nights I spent growing up, hanging in the streets with the homies just doing wild shit because we didn't see a point in anything else.
Ignorance is bliss sometimes fr. It was almost like most of us loved that life because we didn't have to give a damn. We idolized that shit. Y'know, people used to always tell me how it was so cool how I was able to do what I wanted, go where I wanted, left home for weeks if I wanted. People envied that freedom I had.
What many don't realize is how much it truly sucks. I could've gotten murdered & left in a ditch & nobody would've questioned where I was until it was too late. Nobody cared what I did or where I was. THAT was the freedom they envied? I laugh at that sometimes. Sure it could be fun but sometimes you wish somebody would've gave a damn
