Not everyone has the good fortune of being raised by good parents, it's sad.

My parents imparted on me the confidence I needed to thrive like I am in tough times like these.

When my father dropped me in the wolves den and my mother told me to either come back with my shield or on it, I knew I was in good hands.

@GeistInTheMachine yeah I mean, I'm grateful I learned to thrive & handle shit on my own.. but when I have kids I'm definitely not making them live through hell just to make them strong. I'ma do everything to keep them away from that 🙏 I'm still gonna teach them to fight & to thrive.. but not by tossing them around & not being there
