Relative perspective when looking at things

It is funny, but I kept complaining about how the streets felt empty in Canada.. The thing is, they probably weren't. I was just feeling lonely and needed to see people around. Because Yesterday I was walking for an hour, it was in the middle of the day, and I hardly saw anyone on the streets, but it didn't strike me as the streets were empty or anything. It seemed normal to me, and it hit me, the streets had even more people in Canada but felt empty.
