How many people did you make cry today? Me: yes
A day in my life. Proceed with caution I guess.
Today was a normal day like any day in my life but then it wasn't at all. And I am trying to put humor into what happened because stress is not my friend right now or ever.
Me and my sister went to this other neighborhood by the metro to check some areas and to find some real-estate agents and also go for walks and have a good day outside. The other sister was supposed to come but she was busy.
Everything was normal and we had pizza and drank some juice to stay hydrated and so that nothing funny happens. The pizza was a bit chilly but it was not a big deal. After that I got myself a shoulder bag which I always wanted.
30 minutes later we were going to the metro station to go home and it started raining gently not so bad. Suddenly after we get into a side street I close my eyes and open them and I find my sister trying to wake me up after I pass out and my wheelchair hits a parked car which I didn't feel at all. Then there was this passing Syrian lady who came and told her daughter to go get a chocolate bar for me and she gave us water. I ate a couple of bites and still things were funny. I wanted to find a pharmacy to check my sugar level because I thought that would be the right thing to do but they were all closed then we spotted a hospital just randomly in the area and it had an ER. We went inside and they checked my blood pressure but that was all they can do. Then there was a Syrian doctor in there who was really nice and helped us communicate better with the nurses and the front desk guy. He said he can't do anything since he's a surgeon and this isn't really his area. He got a friend and offered to drive us home or wherever we wanted but that wasn't exactly an option I thought of leaving the wheelchair in the hospital so someone picks it up later but that's just too much work.
I decided to just sit in the reception area and calm down because I felt that I should be ok with time and also to call mom and it came to me that since my blood pressure was low I need something salty and not sweet. I then started munching on a salty pretzel like thing we found in the vending machine. And the feeling of dizziness started to fade away and things started to feel normal. 50 minutes later mom and dad came just to be there on the way home.
I don't know what was all that but it's never been that bad like ever since I can remember. When I came home hospitals were closed well the ER is open but they'll tell me to come in the morning anyway. So that's what I will do first thing in the morning.
I have a jar of pickles well I only had 3 and I just had dinner. My blood pressure is normal right now which is good.
At some point I just felt so bad for my sister and I still do. She was crying through out the whole thing and of course mom freaked out and cried on the phone. What a life ๐คทโโ๏ธ as messed up as this all was it still could have been way worse. I'm glad the car was just parked there and not moving or worse it could have been a staircase or something dangerous and I'm glad that hospital was in the same street just around the corner.
P.S the hospital couldn't help further because it turned out to be a maternity hospital. They don't have brain and nerve doctors.
