Tv shows are getting to me
Re-watching game of thrones and I get to season 6 episode 2.
Seeing the red woman handle Jon's dead body made me think of the only dead body I've ever seen that wasn't at a funeral.
My sister and I found my dads body.
She kept saying "his lips are black".
When the paramedics got there....they actually "worked" on him...as if he could be saved. Briefly I saw them do compressions and check vitals.
I have always wondered if they did it for our sake, because we were kids. Or if it was just protocol to try.
EMT's, cops, firemen, any insight?
He had an open casket and his stomach, that used to be a huge pillow stomach, was reduced down to a hard rock.
I pushed on it, to see if it still felt like my dad.
It was a rock. A flat rock.
The worst goodbye I have ever had, even to this day.
