How to make time for others when you have long-term issues going on?

I'm still struggling with finding a job I graduated for, but during that time I'd love to spend time with friends. I don't wanna miss out on important messages like bills to pay or jobs to apply for. But the others have solid job lives and do meet friends, and some are even in relationships.

You need to first realise where your priorities lie. Finding a job and Bills come first? Then u need to put friends on hold.

No life stays the same. In the next 3 years yer life will dramatically change.

2012 at 23 my life was quite a mess. Single, rent so I was stuck in a dead end job 8 to 5pm (average). In the evening I would do activities, hang out with mates and learning to play the Indian instrument, thabla for 5 years before calling it quits (made about 1k from it in 4 years, when playing at Indian sermons). I would cycle in the sunshine n hang out with mates. Passed time on Xbox 360. However my work life was proper poo.

2019 got married. Seeing mates was hard, no more xbox in my life I chose t stop playing.

2020 did an SIA Course for security jobs.

2021 got a new house n wife became pregnant.

2022 got a security job and my son is 1.5 months old. No time for mates and all hobbies (drawing, studying History n Geography) are put on hold.

What am getting at, have patience and faith. Life changes and we can only control ever so much. Be happy, accept, move forth n go with the flow.

Best of luck.

focus on yourself, do what you need to do. Join them now and then but better not to follow them everywhere 🙂 I believe you are doing great! Keep on going after what you need in order to get to a point of feeling good. And do not forget to exercise and eat right, right?!!!!
