Seriously, I think doing as well as you can to those around you makes the most sense. There was an Internet saying, "think globally, act locally", which works for pollution, civil rights, all sorts of causes.

If you are a source of good *where you are*, you are doing a lot!

Of course, you could really help avoid another conflict by just posting The Butt that was Banned, you know...for the sake of world peace...

Just turn the news off.

There definitely is something (s) you can do about those injustices. I have much advice in that area.
