How am I going to be a better version of myself today?

Earlier I had this long, sad post up, but the past is the past. All the reasons why things happened the way they did ultimately don’t matter. What matters is what we do now. So what is it that I want to do better?
Well… I need to get the apartment packed up..
I want to ride the momentum of Kiddo’s camp adventure by continuously exposing them to new experiences.
I need to get over my anxiety–procrastination and get back in the game about school.
I’ve got health stuff to work on.
I’ve got bureaucratic stuff to work on.

I’ve got dog stuff to figure out.

Oh, and then there’s helping kiddo prep for 6th grade that stats in 3 weeks..

Ffs.. I’m giving myself anxiety just writing this post. People say just pick one thing, but how do you do that when everything is important? Sigh.

OK! I’m caffeinated, medicated, cooked us breakfast, spent some time with kiddo, got the dog fed his special rice diet, i’m corresponding with several people trying to figure out a number of planmaking type things, and now i’m going to work on my paper.. deep breaths..

Thinking about everything at the same time is overwhelming. A step a day... Breaking down bigger goals to smaller goals. So that you can acknowledge your progress. Checking small goals off your list every week will make you feel less anxious and you will feel like you're getting somewhere. Looking at the big picture all the time is not efficient.
Make a list… start at the top. Work your way down. Start on the first thing that came to your mind on the list, if it’s all important. You just need somewhere to start.
