šŸ„³ Grateful for small ā€˜getting out of povertyā€™ wins thatā€™ve been years in the making.

I used to have lousy credit. Eventually I built it up. All excited, a few years ago I applied for a ā€˜fancy rewardsā€™ card, but I still wasnā€™t ā€˜good enoughā€™ šŸ˜ž .ā€” šŸŽ‰ Today as I get creative on how to save money, I applied again and got approved for an even better one šŸ„³

Iā€™m also grateful that I have the savings to take advantage of sales when they happen. I donā€™t think enough middle-class+ people really understand how hard it is to break free of that vicious cycle when despite being frugal, you donā€™t have enough money to save money. I remember not that long ago when it didnā€™t even matter if there was a ā€˜big saleā€™ because I only had enough in my account to buy one roll of toilet paper. Or when I only had just enough to buy the cheapest option of everything, a shelf, a washing machine. Even though I knew it would probably break soon after and Iā€™d be back here buying another cheap pos in just a couple years I couldnā€™t afford the better quality thing.
So.. every time I can afford to save money ā€˜in the long runā€™ Iā€™m grateful.
Proud of you. Itā€™s not easy. šŸ–¤
