The show Horrible Histories is darkly hilarious.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I can’t think of any ‘kids show’, produced in the United States, that pokes fun at the ugliness of our history like that. I feel like my country is still in denial about a lot, so poking fun would upset those who are not willing to admit the wrongs while simultaneously be upsetting for those who are still experiencing the ripple effect of those events/persons.
