I’m definitely paying more attention. As the moments are passing, I want to hold onto them tighter because I’ve already discovered that this thick tome of memories I’m carting around was written in a flash. The sense of speed comes with more awareness, not less.

I think I move slower maybe… and I have children so although the days sometimes seem long… the months whip by.
They grow so fast and I seem to just be slowing down you know?

@WaryWitchWandering Ive no kiddos, so maybe one day I'll have walked in your shoes a bit. Time can certainly be a junxtipsion depending on how we look at it.
I sat in a chair for 2 years and watched TV but it still went by fast. Now I have to go out but this damn beer belly is a problem.

Non, it's our perception. But I think we are more aware/see it for how it truly is, a fasting moving vapor.

I feel it does. I still can't believe I've been out of High school over 10 years

It's definitely speeding up and it's kind of freaking me out.

@thepreposterouspanda Find gratitude for the moment at hand my friend

A very good question, although I feel like I’m paying more attention because I’m aware I don’t have as much time left. When I was younger there was always “later".

@bijouxbroussard A very good response. I propose this: What if there was only this moment? The time at hand then becomes all that really matters.

@bijouxbroussard true that

No it just seems that way because we move slower
ravenhill · M
