slipping back into that darkness

During this separation, I travel down to my house during the week to work on the yard while wife is at work, then leave before she comes home. Today was extremely difficult.

It was nice seeing my dogs but it hit me how it all seems like a bad dream and I'll wake up from it soon.
Seeing what you’re leaving behind is always going to be tough… try to avoid these triggers as much as you can.

@Vivaci I didn't stay any longer than I had too, but made sure I got my face bath from the doggies.

Stopped and got some ice cream before leaving town.

I’m so sorry you are going through something like that. That kind of change/separation is very hard. Just know that everything heals with time and it will get easier..

@TimeStandingStill day by day, sometimes hour by hour.

There may, come a time, when you are trying so hard, to keep everything together, that you realize that, it's never coming back, and you were toally screwed.

Perhaps, you will be blessed, in the end! I hope so! 🤗😌
Your post shows your life being at the fork end.
Best wishes for the brightness ahead.

I kept the house in my divorce. I can’t imagine otherwise. Granted, it was expensive but it was worth it.

@Adogslife I'm most likely ending up with the house. She wants to move, I'll have to buy her out.

I am really sorry you are going through this. It’s hard to go through a big change like that.
